Welcome!

This blog has the purpose of documenting major life events, minor life events, interesting thoughts (at least to the thinker), funny stories, pictures that demonstrate why the whole earth is filled with God's glory and how the heavens declare the glory of God, and anything else deemed worthy for this space. We hope that it will be helpful for our family and friends.

Don't expect TOO much for the next couple of weeks since we will be getting married (!!!) and enjoying our first week together as husband and wife. And so begins our blog with love. Agape, philia and storge are all Greek words used in the New Testament to describe love. Lord willing, our marriage will demonstrate love as Christ demonstrated his love for the church by submitting himself to the Father's will and being crucified, bearing the full wrath of God in our place so that if we repent of our sins and turn in faith to Christ alone, we might be reconciled to the God of the heavens and earth as friends and children of God. While we will not be able to love each other so sacrificially or perfectly as Christ does, nor do we have the power to pay for each others sins as Christ has paid for our sins, we do hope to demonstrate sacrificial love and forgiveness towards each other regularly, and to continue to grow in that throughout our marriage.

And we hope that this blog will continue documenting love. As Scripture says, "the whole earth declares the glory of God," and "The heavens declare the glory of God". Therefore, we hope that as we document our lives and our thoughts, we hope that it will be evident in all those things that anything that is praiseworthy and wonderful requires us to give glory to God. God's glory is inextricably tied to His great love and our love for Him, so as God's glory is evident here, His love and our love for Him should equally be evident.
